Well the time has come. The finalist are set for the first ever Most Popular Driver Award. The winner of the fan vote will receive a trophy to mark the win as the ares most popular driver.
Here are the finalist for the award and a little something about each driver. Drivers are in no particular order.
Chad Criswell - The popular driver from Martinsburg, WV has 1 win this season at Williams Grove Speedway and is 6th in points this season at the track. He also has been racing Super Sporstman this season and is in the top 5 in points in that division as well.
Nicole Bower - Nicole has 1 win this season at Port Royal Speedway. The young lady is sitting 9th in points at Williams Grove and 14th in points at Lincoln Speedway. She was also the highest vote getter in the preliminary rounds.
Nate Snyder - Nate is the points leader at Selinsgrove Speedway. He has been Mr. Consistency all season at the track as he has no wins but has run up front all season.
Mike Bittinger - Mike is a 3 time winner this season at Trail Way Speedway. He is 7Th in points at the Hanover short track.
Jay Galloway - Jay almost won his first career feature this past June at Susquehanna Speedway. Jay sits 15th in points at Lincoln Speedway.
Bill Dietrich - The oldest son of former 410 track champion Dan Dietrich, Bill has been driving the 358's at Trail Way and Lincoln for quite some time. Bill is leading the points at Trail Way Speedway and is 5th at Lincoln Speedway.
Derek Locke - Derek is sitting 11th in points this season at SelinsGrove Speedway.
Pat Cannon - The "Big Dog" in the 358 division. Pat started the season in a 410, and moved back to the 358 division at the end of May, and has since become the tied as the winning est driver in the are with 6 wins. Pat has been almost unstoppable at Selinsgrove since he came back.
Blane Heimbach - The driver of the Creasy Signs number 12 has had a great year. He has 2 wins at Selinsgrove and sits 2nd in points right now at the track.
Amy Ott - 1 of 4 young ladies to make the finals. Amy is the daughter of engine builder Don Ott and brother to 410 driver Aarron Ott. Amy is a rookie this season in the 358 division. Her best finish so far has been a 3rd place finish at Williams Grove Speedway earlier in the season.
Brad McClelland - The wining est driver this season at Trail Way Speedway with 5 wins is also tied for most win in the division with 6. Brad sits 2nd in points at Trail Way and 6th in points at Lincoln Speedway.
Kyle Moody - The youngster has had a great rookie season so far. Kyle has 3 wins on the season. 1 at Williams Grove and 2 at Lincoln. Kyle was the first repeat winner at Lincoln this season. He just announced he will be driving a 410 sprinter next year.
Jeff Rohrbaugh - Jeff has had an off year by his standards. Jeff has 3 wins this season, but sits a top of the Central PA 358 Point Series. The driver has won the past 3 track titles at Trail Way Speedway and doubled up last season by winning the title at Lincoln Speedway as well.
Jessica Anderson - The young lady sits 13th in points at Selinsgrove Speedway.
Tim Wagaman - Tim has been having a great season at Trail Way Speedway. He was leading the points early in the season and sits 4th right now in the standings. Tim is also 8th in points at Lincoln Speedway.
Jessie Morrison - The popular host of Race Night is sitting 14th in points at Trail Way Speedway. Jessie almost won her 1st race of her career earlier in the season at the track.
Kyle Pruitt - Kyle has had a good year in his familiar 21k. Kyle sits 15th in points at Williams Grove Speedway. Kyle also has a few 305 wins this season as well.
Scott Geasey - Scott drives the 1w 358 for car owner John Westbrook. Scott is sitting 2nd in points at Williams Grove. Scoot won his 1st 410 race earlier this season at Lincoln Speedway.
Phil Walter - Phil has 2 wins on the season at Selinsgrove Speedway. He sits 4th in points at the track.
Cory Hass - The point leader at Williams Grove Speedway. Cory has been running his 410 at Lincoln as well as other shows this season.
