This coming weekend we have 3 races for the 358 sprints. 2 of them will be points races for the Central PA 358 Point Series.
Trail Way Speedway is back this Friday night with a regular show for the 358 division. Mother nature will not be a problem this week and the weather is going to be perfect all weekend. Trail Way has lost the past 2 races to rain, so the teams are chomping at the bit to get back on the track once again.
Selinsgrove Speedway will have the 358 sprints running once again Saturday night. The 358 teams are still fighting for the points title at the tracks, but the past 2 weeks have not been kind to Blane Heimbach as Blane has had motor problems and has fallen behind the point leader Nate Snyder for the point title.
Sunday night Williams Grove Speedway will be hosting the 358 sprints as part of the Billy Kimmel Memorial. The race being held in memorial of Billy (who was killed at the track 2 years ago) will have the 358's racing in a special event. The top 10 in points are already locked into the race, with the rest of the 358 teams running to try and get those last 14 starting spots. Because of this the 358 portion of the event will not be a points race for the Central PA 358 Point Series.
Good luck to all the teams this weekend.
