With the 410 sprint cars off competing in Speedweeks action, the 358 and 305 sprint cars took over the oval. Young Eric Tomechek shocked every one by placing car owner John Westbrooks no. 1w on the pole and then dominating the 25 lap feature event. " This is our first full night together and to do this is awesome", said Tomechek. " We started together last night at Williams Grove and basically threw that night away so we would have something here this evening. John wanted to win this and I'm glad we did." Westbrook added, " This is one race I wanted when I saw it put on the schedule. Not many people know much about Eric. He's kind of a diamond in the rough driver right now."
Dave Hammaker tried everything he could to pass Tomechek by diving low into turn one after several restarts caused by spinning cars. Tomechek was equal to the task while recording the win. Hammaker settled for second with Nate Snyder third. Tim Wagaman and Kyle Moody filled out the top five. The remainder of the top ten included Logan Schuchart, Cliff Brian, Austion Reed, Steve Fannasy and Ted Thomas. Snyder and Jordon Frontz won qualifying races. There were 22 cars.
