This has been one of the best point battles all year. The track has seen 3 different point leaders so far this year. McClelland lead most of the season, only to have some bad luck and have Hammaker take the point for a few weeks. Dale has had some real bad luck the past few weeks, so he has lost some ground in the chase. His misfortune has been a major help to Tim Wagaman. Wagaman who won his 1st career feature this season , has been fast week in and week out and will make sure the 6 & the 66 are on their toes for the final 4 races. It would not surprise me to see the point lead change again before the season is over.
