Pat Cannon Claims the Final Showdown at SSP

In the 20-lap 358 Sprint Car feature, Aaron Ott started on the pole and led the first 17 laps.  Meanwhile, Pat Cannon made his way from sixth to the runner-up spot and challenged Ott on the seventeenth circuit.   Coming out of turn four with three laps to go, Ott spun by himself, relinquishing the lead to Cannon.  Cannon went on to take the victory over Dale Hammaker and Logan Schuchart.  Mark Smith and Kyle Moddy rounded out the top five.  Qualifying heat race winners were Cannon, Smith, Schuchart and Snyder.  Nyle Berks won the consolation race.
